Another Excuse for Google's innovation - 'India'pendence day!!

Wow!! Even without my awareness, my mind got excited on seeing the doodle on today's Google.co.in... It was an awesome .gif file with a nice little animation in the second 'O' of the GoOgle name logo! The following is that pic that made my eyes wide open!

Google's doodle on 15th Aug 2010!!!
And another sweet surprising news is that it is not only for Google.co.in but also available for Google.COM!! More than being amazed with the Googlians' creative initiatives, somewhere down the lane of the mind, thanked them silently, as an Indian!!

Jai Hind!!

We love you India!! and,
We love you as well Google......... :-)

Jain Maatha ki Jai...

Currently watching the 'Nijam' non-fictional serial - Today's segment is based on the Jain girl Deepa turning herself to a Jain Nun...

My God.... Both mom and myself were hit with a strong shock when we saw the rituals and other 'last' ceremonies for her...  And the rules, ohhhh, too much gripping and making a chill run through our spine... Rules like the hair should be plucked by our own hands., one need to beg for his/her food etc are really heart-throbbing... And with all these kind of things, Deepa is now set to take all these graciouisly....

With the kind of comfort and cozy (and ofcourse privacy) today's modern corporate 'Samiyaars' enjoying - Deepa is one great example...

We bow at you Maathaji....

GMNA Prod Go - A sense of pride!

At last we made it! We successfully made the GMNA Prod push 'into' all the 20 plant regions of North America! The preparation for this was more (or most) tough that the actual implementation. Or as my mentor GB says, you should do this again and again and again and again on a practise so that you shoudl actually feel boredom while doing it real...

And this time especially, with MaoShen leaving the project, Shantu stuck in the thriller 3182, a huge responsibility on my shoulders and I really sweated it with great guidance from Greg... If not would have his enterprising and religious guidance, I am not sure, how many databases I would have completed...

Just got an appreciation mail from JK. But how many of my people know that I had an ardent micro-second smile at my heart when Shantuma said there may not be an implementation due to the draggy of 3182...

And now, however, it makes me feel a world of good after we executed this Himalayan task so flawlessly!!

This particular blog I am sure, no one would understand a correct meaning of this apart my APS chaps... Sorry for that since this is more like a jotting for my own excitement!

All directions around my head, it is paining like anything... Decided not to take any pain-killers for any pain (Saridon is out of stock at home - being the real reason)

Pithha Pirai Soodi...

Rite now listening to the Sundharar Dhevaram!! Simply amazed by the usage of words and the kind of emotions these literature could create in us...

Have a peep - http://www.shaivam.org/siddhanta/thiru7.html

There is no stopping for Tamil!!! ;-)

I really enjoyed writing this...

A lover's cry!!
என் கண்களுக்கு குளுமை மிக விருப்பம் போலும்,
ஆகையால்தான் அழவைப்பது நீ என்றறிந்தும்,
உன்னையே காண துடிக்கின்றதென் கண்கள்...

Now a romantic number!!

Another one... ;-)

So மீண்டும் சந்திப்போம்.. ;-)
அன்புடன், V

Ok.. Time for some Tamil matters!!

Thought of scribbling some kirukkals coming to my mind... Sorry for the punishment!!!

Starting with the praise for our No.1 God... The Great Ganapathy!!!

A good 'Structure' need not 'behave' properly!!

Not talking about cute and glossy girlz of Ethiraj or Stella Marys guyz... Very much the S/W Arch and we are in the next dining of Design Patterns. Hope we are almost neatly confused on Creational Pattern., if you aren't, plz go back and read my previous blog again and get yourself confused. Only a muddy water could become clear by settling 'down'...

So, traversing on with the next biggie of the Patternz.. Structural Pattern. Lets take an orthodox IT Motor Giant GM as a metaphor here. Long while ago, (in 1984) the IT Titan EDS (now HP Enterprise Services) was an entity or I should say an internal entity of GM. So an automation program for this kind, would treat this architecture as GM as an outer entity and EDS as an inner entity of GM viz, making EDS a subset of GM.

However, things changed after 12 years EDS got its own pair of wings leaving GM cribbing 'kilikku rekka mulachiduthu, parannnndhu poiduthu...'. And now, we are, at this stage, in a position to change the architecture of this. Now EDS, nomore an inner entity of GM. So, at a minimal impact, this complicated change needs to be implemented. At this place comes too handy our Structural Pattern!!

So Structural pattern is basically for to manage Structural change, when there is a change in the architecture than needs to be accomplished without major hiccups..!

Signing off now... Next blog would either be on my behavior on my lost and found purse or about the behavioral pattern... Depending on my sleepy time at office or home...

The 3 biggies of D Patterns...

Continuing with where we left last time, the Design Patterns matterz, let us first peep into the broad classification of the Design Patterns. But before seeing through that, as I always used to say, take any practise in S/W engg., either be in OOPS or Design Patterns or MVC etc, they simply copycat the real life strategy. If you have 'felt' OOPS you will be one among the very few who accept with this... Ofcourse, I am one there!! ;-)

The reason for the above sentence being present in here is - anything, any object, any creature would suffer the following linear cycle stages - a) Creation, b) Growth, c) Behavior and ofcourse, d) Elimination (or Disposal). And know what? The categories of DP as well, follow these patterns strictly and the attire of them is as follows:
  1. Creational Pattern
  2. Structural Pattern.
  3. Behavioral Pattern
One of the great challanges of S/W architecture rite from the age of C till C# 4.0 would be on how do we take control over the object creation or how we gonna centralize the object creation. The reason for this is any real time project is good enough to be complicated and a complicated project might have good possibility of boasting to hold more than 500 functional / business classes!! And to flip them with the client code, wow, another 100+ classes we can easily target!

So once the client code starts accessing the Business classes by creating objects for each and every one of them... Just for an example, in a Teaching institution, the client code starts instantiating for the Student object, the Faculty Object, the Classroom object, Textbook object, Examination, Fees, Batches, and so on and on and on... The client code creating those objects, using the objects, closing the objects and disposing / releasing the objects - thus making itself too (we can even add a couple more o there) complicated to maintain and for the readability as well. Another well proven demerit in this approach is the client code is too heavily coupled with the Concrete classes. (A concrete class is one which can be instantiated directly).

So to solve these kind of issues, we have the saviour Creational Pattern. This category of patterns deals with Centralizing the object creation or to delegate the object creation.

Lets see Structural Pattern and Behavioral pattern in my next blog!!

Design Patterns - Re-use, dont re-invent the wheel!!

Long time since I had done any note on Technical stuffs... It is always an easy but risky thing to write something technically, the very reason being, we gonna write something which is rite there very much existing.. Since it is existing, no need to add any spicy masala, juicy jigar thanda to it... Just write as-is... Sametime, any inaccuracy would be a 'digging a perfect my own grave' on this topic..

Before I start sharing of what I know in Design patterns, I would like to give the due tribute to the great techy tutor, one of the great teachers of my time I believe - Mr. Shabarinath KP who gave me the exact of know-what of Design Patterns... I am sure 80% of this Design Patterns blog would be from the notes I had taken from his classroom session!! And the other 20% would be my grammer mistakes!!

Ok, no more big fun, babool, boomer drags... Lets get straight in DP matters...

First, before getting to know 'about' anything, it is always a good 'practice' that we get to know why do we need that! So, lets see 'why' design patterns before hopping to 'How' of the D patterns.

My dad is a seasoned mechanic in motor cars and he is passionate on repairing them. (No, no, he is not a Khan, he can repair only Motor cars and bikes). During the 80's our business flourished like anything... In the mid 90's the business started taking a little deceleration, but it was not seamingly visible. In the 21st century, the business almost taking a reverse gear...

The very reason for this downfall is not only the recent recessions and blah blah.. The simple and subtle cause is almost all the Motor Cars manufacturers offer the AMC (Annual Maintenace contract) at a reasonable rate. So any customer (that may include me as well - sorry dad), who has bought the car for a mountain price, would always, 20 out 22 times, prefer for getting serviced, repaired in the authorized repairing/service centre and definitely not the risk of going to some unknown mechanics!

So, why do we need to go for an authorized Service centre instead of a local craftsman? - Reason is the standards, it is well known for Authorized Centre's practices (or atleast the look-alike ;-)) and most importantly, it is proven... We still believe Sachin IS the best even if he delivers an HatTrick of Golden ducks...

This exactly the same reason, why do we need to go for Design Patterns. Its a kind of just re-using the wheel instead of re-inventing it... (ahh., the title is now used... ;-)). So DP has its standards, best practices and most most importantly, its tested, tested and tested and proven to be error proof, if used appropriately and correctly...

The term 'appropriately' mentions whether a particular problem could be fixed/approached/achieved by DP. The instance 'correctly' denotes the usage of the guidelines correctly and as per the stated (and tested/proven) 'rules'...

So, as per the 'text book' definition, "Design patterns are documented, tried and tested solutions for recurring problems in a given context".

So another very nice and hi-fi requirement for the DP is that it makes the visualization of the architecture more simple and efficient. One can clearly and quickly snap the HLD (High Level Design) when seeing a particular problem...

Fine.. Thats tooo much of 'Y' about DP... Lets explore the patterns of design in detail hereon!!

Cheers!!!

Radio Mirchi - Cool Machi!!

Mom and dad had gone for the Nithyashree concert (Navarasam in Kamarajar Arangam). I gave the tickets as a gift to my mom as Mother's day gift!! (after Hari and Ramesh not interested in the show) :-)  Mom was more happy for how I got the ticken than for the 750/- x 2 pass!!! The couple pass was given to me as prize for participating in a call with the RJ and talked about the worst defeat that India faced on Friday... I won the tickets by talking about my nation's defeat!! :-)

Today too, been to office since there were few issues in the interface run due to some server restart... ahhh... Nowadays, I am searching for some time during the day..... One more thing.., planning to add an additional label to my blog... Technical it would be... And to start with, it would be on Design Patterns!!

Got to get up tooo early tomorrow.... Seeeeuuu!!!

Cheers!!

Sura - Surely Sorry for Vijay and a whip for his fans...

Yessss!!! Whoa!! Jolllly.... My 4 year old cousin jumped in excitement when I told him we would go to Vijay *er Sura. Yes, we went to Sura yesterday since Saravana is a staunch fan of Vijay and Sura is produced / snatched by Sun Pictures... Adding to my woes, everytime Sun TV shows the promo of that movie where the hero delivers absolutely meaningless punch monologues with fulllll of feelingggs and (e)motions in his face, the kid looks at me, querying 'when' - I reply him with smile - 'today'!! Many 'today's passed by and that today came yesterday when I finally booked 3 tickets online for Sura Night Show in Sathyam.

Apart from the Butter Popcorn with Onion Cream masala, nothing, not-a-thing was enjoyable in the movie I should say... Not even there were any good looking girls both in the film as well as in the theatre... All were kids with their parents... (may be its a Vijay movie) :-(

If Vijay planning to launch himself in politics, it is correct that media and especially cine media is a great weapon for that. Unfortunately he is using the weapon in the wrong side, which, for sure would end up in attacking himself... We all (ok, atleast few of us) know that he does have the charisma and the mass attraction. But no one knows why he is just chosing the formula based films and that too wrong formulae...

Pain injects the laziness or is it the vice versa??

Just came from SDAT... Having a light fever and heavy body pain... Especially the pain that keeps pulling the thread in your joints ohhh.. I hate that... For that instance, any creature / living being hates pain rite, including the micro amoeba...

Having a deep thought of bunking the office today quoting my (very real) body pain and fever... Feeling very lazy because of this pain... Or is it paining because I am zombie like this? Hmmm, my percentage quotient now says to call Simon and inform about my leave today... But I am sure once I inform about my sick leave, I will call back Simon again and tell him that I will be coming and create a gritty opportunity for my APS folks primarily my Super Sustain Bro to make a nice kalaikkal on me... So, dropped immediately the plan of cutting the work off today...

Got to buy the Ravanan music cd.. NO NO, I havent become clean... This is for the pudhu maapilla Hari... Seems he had decided against internet mp3s for ARR songs...

Another nice news.. I think Chandma would be interested in this... Fitness One has been launched inside the campus of SDAT swimming pool... The same high sky rates but some creditable discounts available it seems...

If mom knows this, she will insist me to join in there... Should not be known to her..

OK.. Got to start to office... The morning pleasent climate no longer seems to be prevailing and Chennai Hot Sun is back to form...

Starting... and so signging off...

Cheers!!

InPopularGone...

80 out of 90 cinema goers would say either of the following answers - "yes / ofcourse / obviously" for the question, "do you  prefer popcorn during a movie?"... Dont know why the corn turned inside out reaally turns us in especially during a movie, even not just bothered about the tiny pickings that get caught inbetween the teeth...

We Chennaites simply love the Butter Popcorn with the masala with a Pepsi combo given for 100/-  (or 120/- I dont remember) in Sathyam Complex... wowwww.... It adds up the taste to the movie if the movie is good... It catches up with the disappointment if the movie is not...

Whatsoever, the popcorn is like a chwwweet little charming Girl Friend!! (OK, for girls, the PC is the hard-shouldered cum credit carded beau). And this block of the blog is definitely not for the sake of telling about the pops...

When I booked the ticket for Clash of Titans in PVR cinemas, I did have the expectation of not only the movie but also for the tasty popping corns... But alas, both severely disappointed me...

The movie proving to be brrrrr... and most importantly, my favorite gf, the pop-corn is horrible in taste... Absolutely there was just nothing in the stuff and it was something like a 100 times chewed bug-fun errrrrr-aaahhhh... sorry, big fun bubble gum... Atleast big funla mutta udalam...

If this was my opinion or perception, its the same with Hari as well... Oh yeah... Hari is back with a bang today... (Here bang refers to the milk sweets he had got for us from Gupta - yummmy they were...).  Seems he didnt have a good time with the popcorn while in PVR for VTV... Correctly said by him, the corn available in our canteen is far better than that posh, hiiiiiighhhhhly priced tasteless corn... Infact, I am not sure whether even we, the APS folks would be interested to munch it if it is made available in any of our bays...

PVR guys, plz make your popcorn a bit spicy and add some good taste to that, otherwise, the profit might just start popping out of your crease....

Rain Rain Go away!!!

Every single soul would turn me around kick me in my back for this very title in this hhhhhott shoot summer... But I continued to say this on Saturday early morning when I saw through the lovely gentle drizzlings outside my bedroom window... A msg quoting the bad weather and the impossibility of today's cricket match we have planned, from atl Ramesh disappointed (and disturbed) me still further..

Checked with others and Goodri (he is soooo good, so didnt want to use bad!!) promptly replied with his stylish 'noope'...

Krishna called up and consoled 'this too would pass in few mins'... But Rain God had different plans and not having any mercy on the thousands and thousands of street cricketers who were looking forward for the weekends to establish their abilities with the tennis ball and gloveless hands... Closed my eyes and cuddled in my pillow...

When I opened my eyes, my ears could still hear the little rain outside and the clock in my mobile told me the time is ....... 8:30 AM!!!

And that said it all!! No cricket for today!!!

Consoling myself and got ready to get myself immersed in SDAT. I really wanted to experience the swim action during a rainy day... ufff... The closed gates of SDAT, for the first time in the day reminded me that its not only the day of rain... its my day, our day... - The Workers day...

Happy working and long live Marina!!! :-)

Satellite Sadists, dont prove the TV as an idiotic channel again...

'Squirming' - The exact word I could make use when I was watching Chutti TV alongwith my 4 year old cousin Saravana... The reason for that is an unneeded (and unwanted) advertisement during the ad-break of a very popular cartoon show (I think Jackie Chan Cartoon serial it was). After 10 mins of the cartoon start, the ad break started and since the advertisments are as colorful and peppy as the cartoons, most of the kids fix their eyes on the TV screens. But to my shocking, the second advertisement was........ about a girl how comfortable she feels on usage of a particular brand sanitary naps.

What the hell is this?? Chutti TV I believe is full-fledged kids oriented channel... and I cant think of one good reason to show this one?? And whats more, there was a second break in the cartoon and the ad shown was how almost all girls on earth got seduced with the an opposite gender on the usage of a perfume or body spray. Ape effect I would call this... Yes, that guy does look like one...

Sun TV known for its catchy, hyped and obsessive promotional advertisements, their worst movies standing first in this promotional list... Let them post any sh__ in their common channels. But why cant any PRO or the programme supervisors or the Ad keepers for the channels have some sense and know that the kids have few more years left to see/know/enjoy all these things??

Or at last, as always, are these known and done? Channelers - plz stop with these.. Do not go to the next step and start publishing the productivity and protectivity of KS in these channels...

First time in my blog I am writing something in a lousy mood... I was in a better mood even yesterday when we had an insufficient but highhhhly paid food in the GRTGD...

GRD Grand Days - simply barren ways...

No, better stop wasting your corporate team money... GRT Grand days is definitely no wise choice for a Team Lunch or a TD. (Not Test Director).

Even before we could start the food items, we could see that the variety got finished!!! And even the existing variety not proving to be any better taste.. Barbeque or Green park should never be compared with this GRT-GD.

One thing to be noticed here is, almost all the star hotels are booked fullhouse on wednesday... The quarter coming to an end for most of the companies i believe... or is that like on Thursdays and Fridays most crampies wont take NV??

Somehow, all of our APS folks are keeping the fingers crossed for the next trifle treat from the Trio (RamKrishnaShanto) in Accord!!

May be happening in the very next week itself...

Delilciously waiting...

Too much of 'hi-fi' and incidentally all are true.....

Shantosh taking a call with the Microsoft (not an interview), Ramesh doing a inner search with his own google to tackle the business need for the dynamic drawing of the Plant in the application, Krishna as always maintaining a steady balance with his official development work and his personal(ity) development in Technology and me doing an impact analysis of the SSIS Interface run during the absence of GB...
If you think the above things were the one running on top of our mind, plz, high time to correct that immediately... We all badly waiting for the Team lunch in GRT!!!

OK.. Once Sustain Bro finishes his (utterly useless) call with Microsoft we are planning to start.. It would yield some fruits even if he could spend some time with his personal calls...

No more time to wait... Rushing off... Bye...

Cheers!!

Lets start the tennis play score.. I mean Love all!!!!

Me, My bike, A ride and an Accident!!

Ya, thats rite... Met with a minor accident when I was driving at a pretty high velocity to my office on Saturday afternoon... Directly experienced the direct collision principle of two bodies moving in opposite direction in the same straight line!!

My bike got badly hit. And I had a good hit as well...

Got to leave now to one of my daily routines... Swim!!! :-)

Will continue in a while..

Cheers and love!!

Krishna's left arm seam - The best highlight of the day!!

"R v going 2day?" - The text msg from Krishna made me to pull myself from the semi-sleep...  I confirmed him that we are making it to the match today!! :-) Then started to ring every person I could and checked if they would be able to come (or requested them to a good extent not to drop out ;-)) .  DoD (Dad of Dhunas) withdrew himself at the eleventh hour quoting few personal commitments..... Grrrrrrr... :'-(... Apart from that, there was a good turn-around (ofcourse I should use the word 'relatively' here...).

The first person to ring me was Nanjun, the fair and handsome guy from the Unix team. Somehow collected the bats, stumps and headed to the ground... Met Nanjun opposite to CTC and waited some more time for our GSIP darling Manoj Singh!! He came and I guided them home (groundukkuthaampa...).

Almost everyone who promised to come had turned around - Violent shot Vadivel, Mastermind Manoj, Mighty Krishna the Leftie etc...

Haha., as we are searching for 'some'one to play with (same like Chennai - 28) ;-) we found a person (his friends call him Jonty) came forward and asked for a match!!! What response we need to give? Gladly accepted!!!

And amazingly we won the toss too!! We managed to put some handy runs and started to chase! It is more of a team effort I should say... Krishna played a short and sweet innings as a make-shift opener (Oh boy.... who is the regular opener then??). Vadivel dont know why, he resembled the Gilchrist of IPL 2010... Not sure I scored runs on two digits but for sure,  the balls I had faced would have crossed near to 3 digits (I am including the wides and no-balls ^_^ ) - Or, I could patch up myself by saying I was holding our innings! :-(

And we started the chase and as usual Krishna, with his electrifying bowling attack, made the batting crease a little dancing stage for the opening batsmen with their struggling footwork against his nagging reverse swinging yorkers!! And a sudden slower kissed the top edge of one of the openers ending up with a sweet catch!!

This very shocking slice gave the 'Jonty' team a setback... And we continued to bowl well and the new add-in Nanjun impressed with his medium / slow tactics as well. Vadivel chipped in with his tricky change of pace deliveries to tease the batsman and increase their frustration... Manoj came up with a couple of superb catches, one a fairly simple one and the other wow, a skier - he kept his nerve and caught the glider pretty neatly!! Again Krishna with his smooth and steady run-up checked-in his venomously fired in-swingers and curtained their innings!!

Oh YES!!! WE HAVE WON!!! It took a few moments for some of us to realize our win!! Thus the day's match was a good one with a good-win!! Ofcourse, our other default things like Cold buttermilk, Rosemilk, water packet, a marginal defeat, misfield, dropped catches did present as well!!

But end of the match, all our physical bodies had a good pain and the muscles facing a stressful strain - which really made us feel happy!!!

Smiles!!

Hari Kalyanam - The CROWD said it all!!

Not many of my close ones wouldn't be aware that I am an introvert. One of my very best friends (who is now no more) manifested to me that I am one (as one ;-)). After all, world without friends just could not be dwelt isn't it?

OK., inspite of being an 'I', I have the pride of knowing most persons around (or distant to) me. There are countable folks whom I dont know in my company in our facility. Till I met Hari, I was thinking I am the only person who has this 'popular' quality. However, the day I met this humble chap, I agree, I need to throw off my cap. He knew almost everyone in the floor, facility, company yet, wouldnt project as though. Quite opposite to me, just boasting around by explicitly saying a hi, a broad smile (or a grin), a pat (or a tap) to the people coming around... He keeps his calm and just a simple heartly smile on people!! Much younger to me but I know I have few lessons to be learnt from this guy... Hari getting married now is quite irrelevant to the context of the previous sentence. :-D. I have my ATL for all that!!

We (The APS mates, Hari's friends like Bubbling Badri, Pons, Kodaikanal Andrews etc) all planned to leave office at 6 PM and to ardently demonstrate that we are 'hard-coded' desi Indians, we started around 6:54 PM, the delay primarily due to my dragging conversation with TM regarding a couple of issues.

I never knew Poonamallee was this much a biiiiig place.... Almost around 40% of our travel distance covered in the Poonamallee area itself. Badri as usual, geared his throttle too much and almost touched the boundary of Sriperumbudhur before being stopped by one of our phone calls... Somehow all of us got together in front of the marriage hall. As usual, we always give preferences to the life energy of every living being - Food... Delicious kalyana saapadu!! We felt wishing the couple without any hunger will make the wishes more powerful... So started our hunt!

What to say?? What to blog?? Already a thump of people had decided the same like us... The crowd neverthless to say, I began to feel like as if I am in a Temple during a Thiruvizha season. Somehow, we were just not ready to give up... Had a verrrry gooooooood food after a verrry verrrrry loooooong wait!! Especially the mushromm chops and rasam saadham wow!!! Delicious they were. Shouldnt miss to mention the cashew pakkoda - Simply toothsome... Curd rice, as always yummmy!! How great it would have been if alone we had the food in a leisure manner, sitting instead of standing like a fast food style...

Went upstairs and joined another queue to meet and wish the couple and did so... I did feel this kind of receptions are a bit too much especially for the new couple. Hours and hours of standing and recieving gifts and handshakes and momentarily at times becoming like IA air-hostess with some ready-made smiles. Shouldn't there be some change in this approach??

Light music by Abhaswaram Ramji. Kids so casually and enjoyingly vocalizing difficult nos., Their expressions along with the voice is a big +... Sanjay (no, the last name is not Mitra - it is Ramji) recognized me and we had a chit-chat for a minute, both of us knowing fully well that this is absolutely a formality talk... (reference to my first paragraph in this post)

OK. Wished Mrs and Mr. Hari and tried to smile for the clik-cliks. Then started our way back... Got a fruit salad and came out. I need to admit, I remember only one piece of the fruits touched my mouth...

Then, we, APS folks, started to home. Believe me guys, backing to home!!!

Fine, getting late for office. Got to test my application in Arlington (name is so sweet isnt it) DB. Got to leave...

Love all....

Spiritual Romance - Again!!

Got up in the noon and rushed for office, all my family people thinking me as the Atlas of GM carrying the entire New GM division on my shoulders... I never break into others' hopes or beliefs!!

Going back to the morning ride to the temple, yes, we reached the temple and had a facewash in the temple and dipped ourselves inside the temple. The temple, in the early morning is churning with peace, calm and beauty. A serene tranquility absorbs you once you enter inside this...

We had a long wait before the special pooja / archana due to the morning formalities for the deity got over. In the meanwhile I run through the Paasuram done by ThiruMangai Azhwar on the inner walls of the outer pragaram in the Temple. Goshhhh... it was so beautiful, innovative and you know what, it does have a good percentage of nice erotic lines as well!!! The work is given as a narration of mother whose Girl is badly disturbed by the seperation with the Lord (who in turn happens to be Her Companion ;-) )  Do have a read!! If I find an online link for the Paasuram, would post here...

The pooja that we were about to do is something like a counter for some Dhosham in our Star Divinition i.e. Jaadhakam, so that the pp (pooja performer) gets married sooon!! Hold, I am not blushing!! My mom after doing pretty some permutations and combinations was very keen in doing it so that I be(come) the product of Wedlock! She is simply not aware that the product would always be zero if one of the nos. is zero... ;-)
Coming back to the temple, had a Dharshan of Lord once the screen is opened. Ohhh My Goddd, guys, they say this is the officiated temple for those who are, to be married and they will get married immediately if they come here. But what I really feel is, this is the temple for those who 'got married' and the logical literature taught here is to how to be for each other with your better-half/spouse/GF/fiancé etc... The very dharshan makes us enlightened on how to treat and how to be with your companion!

Lord (who is in the form of Varahar) holding Thaayar (AkilaValli Thaayar) in His hands and supporting Her on His strong and large thighs and Thaayar, so close to Him looks to be listening keenly and enjoyingly - it looks soooooo romantic, so intimate and so lovely... They said Perumal is teaching Thaayar the principles - my dirty mind immediately thought what kind of principles could be thought at this pose!!! ;-)

If you take a second look, yes, it gives us more meanings, more realizations - A man holding the girl of  his life and saying - 'Hey I am here' - and a silent emotional transaction which reveals the truth - and the posture of Thaayar, hmmm, a typical Indian Great Homemaker - just enjoying the strong Hold of Her Man (who is a not of a mankind ofcourse), paying full attention to what the say is all about - and ofcourse, the left Leg of Perumal resting on His prescribed bed - Adhisesha (now the Holy Snake in a different posture!!) - All together keeps you mesmerized!!

Do visit this amazing temple / place guys!! Not only to AkilaValli, Varahas does have some sweet lessons for us as well!!!

And, as I always say, early morning ride to this place is a must... Otherwise, be prepared to face the humid burns... ;-)
Signing off - Got to start...

Next post is on Hari's wedlock and delicious dinner and the terrific (terrible) crowd in the marriage!!

Love all...

ThiruVidandhai, The Spiritual Romance...

Its 10:45 AM with summer sun burning out there and am cuddling with my system with a drowsy state... Got up so early (4:15 AM), finished the pooja and started for Nithya Kalyana Perumal Temple in Thiruvidandhai with mom... A nice stretched 45 km drive from Anna Nagar, (ok, for my APS folks, 44.5 km from NSK Nagar). Started around 5:45 just after finishing an aroma checked coffee...

Yes, it is really a wonderful drive in the morning, as I always used to say, morning especially early morning stuffs are always enchanting and exciting with the climate soothing you and not much traffic to hold you on and etc..

Reached the temple around 7 AM and had a face wash in the Temple Pond outside. Fine, even writing about the facee wassrfh ias noht stoapping me fffrrim sliipeepng. Gooooo nighhhhh guyzzzzzzzzzzz., zzzzzzzzzz

Love, V......................

Thats another looooong day!!

Its been pretty long since I had been slogged like the day on which I am blogging this... It started with a call with GB for running some SSIS scripts in Production. He made me do that and things were pretty smooth...! And, should never miss to jot down this - the ride in the morning from home to office... The early morning ride with Hanuman Chalisa in my head-set, wow, Greg, you made me enthralling in SSIS and your meetnig invite made me enlightened!! Try this out guyz, ride along in your two-wheeler on a very early morning when the darkness is fading away and the Sun is creeping its dim brightness, WOW, never miss this guys...! (Your favorite song in your headphones along the ride would be a pine cake dipped in honey...)

Once the meeting is done, I started to look on some of my perennial pending issues and lo, thats where I started to feel the same kind of experience I used to feel in my schooldays during the Social Sciences period while the teacher momentarily becomes mother of the entire class by his lullaby reading of the civics text! I never had any cough syrup at alll... I liked that experience soooo much but could not enjoy a bit at all....

Somehow kept chasing that away and had my breakfast... Krishna's company made me a little better, no, much better! And today Krishna had a tough time with his unknown new 'neighbouring' collegue, seems he has good patience - for if I would have been in his place so many times I would shouted atleast at my mind level...

A very good friend of mine got engaged but her face just not showing any sort of signs of that change. Totally disinterested she is... God give her some good emotions in her face and make her blush!! I am sure you will since she is good and smart enough to handle the future keeping in mind that the handling is done by You!!

Ok guys, nothing more special today... Started collecting money for Hari's marriage and a good collection been done till!! ;-) Tomorrow need to go to the reception, a well awaited one, not only for my best friend's marriage reception, the reception music is by Abhashwaram Ramji, one of my most favorites!!!

And also got to start with mom tomorrow early morning... Hmmm.... Lets check!!!

Love all!!

IPL - Integrated Politics League!!!

Goddamn.... I know if certain things taken too playfully, can bring few troubles... But never know to this much percent of reality that a play of sport can bring people this much of serious troubles!! You guessed it rite - Shashi Tharoor would for sure never thought that a 40 over game would spoil his limelight like this... If we are thinking that Dhoni, Sachin or Kallis playing at their best in this tournament, these events re-remind us that Money is the one thats playing its best shot..!!!

And seeing some of the results of the game turning the tables around, makes me feel that, are the batsmen playing the shot based on the bowler's swing or based on the dealer's magic ring???

Whatsoever, lets keep enjoying the sport in a political manner and the politics in a sportive attitude, as we Indians always used to be and do!! :-)

Bugging bugs...

Hot Sunday, generally I hate to come out of my room with my Pentium box and the two fans turned on, (might go for a Voltas or Samsung chill unit this month) ;-) but I HAD to, since I am yet to complete my tasks for the 2.3 release... These releases reminding me of the quarterly, half-yearly and annual exams in my school. Atleast we used to get jiggling holidays after the trembling exams...

And now it seems the issue is actually something that relate with the DB design that requires a change in the size of a particular field....

Mailed to the SME regarding this... Now, leaving home... Planning to eat out since mom is yet to come home....

Chal, see you then...

Vith Love... ;-)

Leaving to Office - Yes, I know its a sunday!!

The code cut-off being postponed (to my good) to Monday, I have few pending tasks to be completed in it as well... Especially ergonomically... ;-)

Well, yes, I had been there yesterday but unable to complete it since the unavailability of the DB Server where in I have set up the data for my issues that are pending... Got to check whether it is available now...

Then, mom had gone to Kanchipuram for some temple commitments, dad and Saravana in company with her leaving my uncle in the company...

I am sure something is wrong with my new monitor or something is not correct with the installation..., I dont get the same clarity that I wish for... Got to check out...

See you in a while...

Love...

Bye to Buzz n Logging to Blogging!!!

You need someone with whom you can share things with rite? Thats what I had been doing all time on Google Buzz... But due to few uncertain reasons I have for time being stopped buzzing around. Not sure whether that 'time being' would be forever as well... So, err, but where on earth I need to pour out my emotions or impressions or inspirations??? Where do I need to go and say that whether I watch or not, the presence of IPL makes me excited..., to whom I could tell AmpaSkyWalk is no better than City Centre but Priya VillageRoad cinemas proving to be world class quality? To whom should I crib that the kind of work I do at work just not taking me to places?? To whom should I comment about the girl sitting opposite to my Sustain Brother is becoming better and better in her beauty every day and the little mole on her nose-tip adds up a notch to her appealing??

So, using the blogspot as the Wilson Basket Ball for Tom Hanks in Cast Away... :-)

Thanks to Google Blogs and the creator of it, I dont have any patience to google out the name of the creator, but pass on my credits and gratitude to him/her!! Ofcourse there are some very dark areas that may disturb the viewers, readers, listeners which may contain some violent, adult content which would make their way only in my personal journal... Avoiding them in the blogs for security reasons!! :-D

Lets blog and hey blog, be ready to be God, for both of you just keep listening for any non-sense I scribble!!!

Return to Chennai

Seems I have taken a loooooong popcorn break.. ;-) Atleast and atlast now I was able to overcome the inertia and clicked on the New post link!

Lots of updates between my last blog and the current one... Like, we went to SriKalahastheeswarar Temple, Trichy SriRangam and etc.... And I watched few very very good movies... Blogs would be following on them as well... (Heads up ;-))

I came back from Hyderabad on Monday morning once again in the same Govt-bus-like KF airliner chewing the not-so-tasty sa(n)dwich with my mouth ulcer dominating on any food taste... :-(

And since it got too late, no more new updates on Hyderabad stuffs...

So meet you all with some new goodies from next blog...

Cheers!

Eighth part of my energetic trip... A popcorn break!!!

There are 28 states and more than 50 most popular cities in India and why the hell I keep taggling about this Hyderabad....?

Many friends of mine, Minki, Kosila, Gaaja, Dhuuma (no, no, this is not Shantosh's "daughter's" name), Pikshaya, Saarik, Meotu etc, (names have been damaged sorry changed due to security concerns ;-)) started shouting at me quoting similar sentences to the one above...

Ok. good news for all you guyz is the Hyderabad blues would be completed in next two posts (இன்னும் ரெண்டா - அடப்பாவி?) and more good news is that, my next posts would be on few of  the interesting places of Chennai!!

Lets get ready to show bye bye to Telungana or Hyderabad in a couple of posts... (இன்னிக்கு இவ்ளோதான். போய் வேலைய பாருங்க... டாடா..)

7th Scene of Hyderabad Stunns!!

Andha neram andhi neram kann paarthu kandhalaagi pona neram edho aache.... Hosanaaaa!!! One of the beautiful melodius fast nos. from VTV running in my 5.1 when I am typing this... Got to start for Dharga and Kandhakottam in a while, while i am stealing few mins to hit some keys on my keyboard...

Switching back to Hydi... (We have a colleague in J.Chan's homeland with the same name.. Heard from Shantosh that she looks awesome) :-) OK. After travelling along the loooongest flyover in India (Asia??), we guyz (I vaguely remember we were 7 persons and all boys / males... ) reached directly to the place where the interviews need to be conducted. The address was absolutely accurate and very specific making it easy for us to plot the location. I cant stop thinking the guy and thanking him who gave us the address for taking the care to include even minute details like which apartment, its name and floor etc. Very soon, I need to thank the same person for reminding me the difference between an accurate information and a correct data! The address was absolutely wrong...

Started wandering and tried to get hold of the SPOC person for this interview in Hyd and couldnt succeed for a while... Again I cant stop thinking the same guy whom I thought of thanking a while earlier... Somehow got the person on line and got the 'correct' address. Soft-luck, the correct things, most of the times, stay very close to the wrong things and in our address it is proved true... The correct address is just opposite to the accurate one!

Omana penne  from VTV is the current track in my MP3 player. Why cant someone find an higher award better than Oscars n Grammies for our ever-humble Mozart yaar... He keeps mesmerizing us with his magical melodies... Switching back, then we went in and settled 'Down'... The interview centre was more of an institute/consultancy... My quick (and hurried) instinct immediately decided that this place is not fit for an interview for my company because not a centrally airconditioned building, no hydraulic chairs, no glass doors with blinds and yes there were lot of dust, good enough to cover you up. Somehow. as asual, got settled with that, since the cleaning was done very quickly and thoroughly... I went and occupied the room of the Chairperson of the consultant/institute. The room was very good and posh. Thus my interview sessions started, and a flash of thought inside me - for me it is a matter of just a questioning session, for my company its a matter of a good resource but for the person on the other side, it could even be life... Sometimes, you become the weapon of God to decide one's life whom you ever know... I breathed in deeply and the blinds in the side window kept moving with some random rhythm...

Sixth scoup of my swelling journey!

OK.. Yesterday's training went well, except that there was much less interaction... Whatever I say, whatever I ask, oh God.., the guyz for whom the training was intended, were absolutely determined not to speak a word... Did I tell you it was a con-call training, so might be the guyz are lazy enough to mute-off the phone and then ask/tell anything. Or could they forget what they wanted to ask by the time they take off the mute... :-)

Continuing my journey's journal, (எப்பதாண்டா முடிப்ப??? ) , a double worthy mentioning here about the looooooong flyover under the name of the great former PM, PVNR.

The length of the flyover is dazzling 11.6 km and the maintenance is just wonderful - A full continuous aerial view of Hyd is available while travelling on it...But the couple of limitations I could feel is there is no exit inbetween the start and end of the bridge for 11.6 km and to get out of this corridor, you need to complete the entire stretch and there is not any provision of any 'U' turn as well. I think that is second phase of this mega construction to have emergency exits in-between. Another keep-down of this elevated express highway is the journey on this EE highway is limited only to cars and mini vans. No lorries, motor-cyclists, carts, not even pedestrians are allowed in this professional path..., Safety's sake, it is fine...

Continue in a while...

Fifth frame of Hyd picks!

It did require some good effort for me to differentiate (again) this place to the UK environment. The airport, the roads from airport towards the city, the climate (this guy is the hero of all am sure), and the trees and plants on the corner and in the median of the roads... Just awesome...

One more thing that requires a definite orientation here is the call cab. (OK OK, call taxi...) The maintenance of the cab is just great and vibrating gentle music in it - Just awesome!! Further to it, the volume of the FM music inside the cab - you will neither be listening to it nor will you be unaware of it, but for sure the music would be dissolving within your consciousness... A very unique ecstatic experience never to be missed and could not be missed either... Is this experience what Budha attained at 500 BC as enlightenment under the Bhodhi tree?

OK, we went straight to the place where the interviews need to be conducted. Oh stop... The great silent king will thrash me in my dreams if I forget to mention about the PV NaraSimha Rao Elevated Express Highway that connects the Ragiv(the G is intentional) Gandhi international airport and the Hyd city!!

Time for rushing out to office, since I have a training to be given this late afternoon... Meet again with all the excitment stuffed grillings in the next post!! (If you people wonder whether I am trying to compete with the Kannitheevu story in Dhinathanthi, no worries, I do have the same doubt as well... :-))

Cya..

4th Serving of Hyderabadi greens...

The flight trip was good... Very good I should say... Last time for the same Hyderabad trip, I lost my RD while landing.. This time I was reading the 'Kaadhal Arangam', a spiritual classic about the scintillating SriRangam by the veteran Balakumaran. The flight snacks were a fibre biscuit from Brittania and a cheese veg combo sandwich... The former one tasted great and later just booed off... Moreover, my mouth ulcer duly preventing to enjoy the taste in the sandwich if it had any...

Overall, a good forward journey... Reached Hyd Airport. Wow!! I simply couldn't belive my eyes... It made no difference to me between the airport I landed a couple of years back in London and the one I was landing in Hyd... True, only true... The Ragiv Gandhi Internation Airport was just a piece of great art. Even the runway is maintained so great. Worth a complete post to mention about the Hyd weather. Simply, to put about it, I could only see the sun and its rays and nowhere I felt it... A great experience to completely get drenched in the Sun while a chilling breeze running through your skin!!!

Worth a Wow here!! Wow.. A hi-fi to the Hyderabadi weather!!!

Hyderabadi Greens - 3

One more post, if I didnt start about my Hyd journs, sure it is not possible to identify any difference between me and the prime time 'azhuga' serials in the satellite TVs..

OK, let me wrap up the blah-blah stories...Reached office again at 8 I think. Continued the Hurry-Bury stuffs... Simon - not at all happy on my today's perfectly un-organized happazards... Urged me to leave early since the next day early morning my Kingfisher starts...

Reached back home around 12 (or 1?). Mom already selected more than few options in the dresses for me to select from and I did some random stuffs...

Hit the bed and mom woke me up around 3:15.... Oh god, my physical body begging me for some good rest.... Pushed it away and stepped down to have my bath and got a call from Friends Call Taxi. Literally stunned by the driver's punctuality...

And, as  u...l started late at 4.45! The Friends Call Taxi Driver was very very upset it seems... Mom, Dad, Uncle and ofcourse Saravana with me boarded the car... God, give me a chance to make them board few flights as well... But plz make that soon!!

Reached the ever-waking, never-sleeping Chennai AP. Met the other interviewers and shared a mechanical 'hi - hello - how are you' ...

Met Sarath, (he is the HR SPOC for this interview drive) and dropped a nice tata to my family members and a sense of proud ($#&&***#####@#@) in my family members' face and an invariable excitement in Saravana's face!!

With all that, completing the Securituals, I stepped into KF airlines and the micro mini airlines whirred off to begin my second trip to Hyderabad!!!

Hyderabadi Greens - II

Mom was the one who called me last time when I was typing the last sentence of my last post... Just couldnt organize myself properly to back again to continue... K, lets continue our hyderabadi freeyani stuffs...

Informed Simon at the last moment that I need to start early for the day due to the pooja and also informed him about my next day trip to Hyderabad... He reminded me of the customer review and clarifs. He is not at all convinced with my idea of leaving the office and coming back all the way from the pooja place (which is near to my home Anna nagar aka N.S.K. Nagar ;-))

Somehow made him convinced and left the office around 5.30 I think. And that day being the 2nd day of Pongal, mom was overburdened with lots and lots of work (as usual I shd say!!). Adding a couple more pinch of salt and pepper to the injury is the day Sun decided to go for an eclipse...

Back to my ride, I reached home and finished bath, finished a good delicious naivadhya prasadha saadham and started for Parthiban uncle's home...

I know I am yet to start on Hyderabad stuffs... Will start in ... ;-)

Luv,
Venkat

Hyderabadi Greens!!

On Jan 14th, recieved a call from my HR asking me if I could travel to Hyderabad the coming weekend for .Net interviews... I dont want to go, credits to the hell lot of pending work for my 2.2 release thats about to happen on 26th Jan... Same time, I dont want to miss this as well. For sure I know this would be a very different experience. I tried convincing them if this could happen over call as Telephonic interview and my inner mind silently saying 'Dont say yes for that :-)'. The HR person said it wasn't possible and insisted me to join... I said Yes!!

And, the next day, Friday the 15th, I was asked to come to Parthiban uncle's house for Ayyappan Pooja... The time given specified was around 6 in the evening. This was too much for me... Reason is, today the customers are joining the evening status call to review the fixed bugs and to clarify the ir-responsible sorry un-reproducible bugs. And my items were there in the list as well... And I am not supposed to miss this pooja as well since mom (and myself too) are a bit attached to it.. :-(

Hold, seems getting a call... Will be back in my next post and would continue there....
